The Covenant guard tower is a mobile ten meter tower equipped with a single[1] Plasma Cannon used to defend the perimeter of an encampment. Unlike the similar deployable lookout tower, the guard tower apparently does not make use of a gravity lift, instead spiraling upward from a treaded base.[2]
