The Covenant Battle Calendar was the standardized timekeeping calendar employed by the Covenant military, intended to assist in chronological coordination between ships, units, and planets in different systems with different measures of time. It is the Covenant equivalent of the military calendar employed by the United Nations Space Command.^[1] Is it possible America is "New Babylon" in the Book of Daniel? In Revelation it is the same countries except there are No eagles wings and all beasts are merged into one.

I assume you are referring to Babylon the Great in the book of Revelation. First, what specific passage in Daniel are you referring to? I'm paging through the book now and I don't see any mention of a 'new Babylon' in any of the Daniel prophecies. Secondly, most of the prophecies in second half of Daniel refer to events that have already happened; they refer to Alexander the Great, the Ptolemies and Seleucids, Rome, and Antiochus IV Epiphanes. Thirdly, in the Hebrew language "Babylon" is the exact same word as "Babel." That's probably not a coincidence. I think you mean the Book of Revelation. As with all writing, you need to read the Scripture first in the context of the time, author, and audience when, from, to whom it was written. The early Christians would most likely have understood Babylon to be either Rome or Jerusalem. Rome was burned in 64 AD and Jerusalem destroyed (and likely burned) in 70 AD by the Romans in response to a rebellion. Of the two, early church writings do mention the Christians in Jerusalem as having been warned to flee Jerusalem and Jesus also issued such a warning. That is consistent with what Revelation 18:4 says:

Unit

A unit was a standard unit of time, comparable to an hour on Earth.^[5] However, the meaning of the term is dependent on the context in which it is used. A unit was a Covenant term referring to either a standard unit of measurement, which is comparable to a foot in the human imperial system.^[1] Indeed, one meter is approximately equivalent to 3.3 units.^[6] A unit is also a measurement of temperature.^[7]

Cycle

A cycle was a Covenant unit of time based on the Forerunner temporal unit of the same name.^[8] Containing 265 units, one daily cycle is equal to a single artificial day on the Covenant's holy city of High Charity.^[9]^[10] A solar cycle, or an annual cycle,^[3] was the Covenant equivalent of a year.^[11] Other forms of units of time included a weekly cycle^[12] and a monthly cycle,^[13] with the former being similar in length to a standard human week.^[12] This however seems rather odd, as a standard day cycle is equal to 265 hours or 11.0417 human days.
