What is a Template?

A template on Halopedia is a preset chunk of coding used on Halopedia that denotes a page's certain attribute. What does that mean? For example, if you want to add the Covenant Ages to an article, the template known as {{Ages}} (see to the right) can be inserted into the page. When the page is saved, the following will show up:
