A Camera Drone is a type of sound and video recording device used by Humans. It is probably used for playback on civilian-owned video displays as entertainment or acknowledgment on current events. They appear to hover on several air propellers. These are probably used to broadcast the film back to Earth.

The Master Chief with Sergeant Avery Johnson broadcast by hovering Camera Drones in Halo 2.

You can only see this device once in the game. It is shown in the Halo 2 Cinematic Cut scene Home Field Advantage which takes place on Cairo Station. They hover about as fast as Forerunner Sentinels, although not based on such advanced technology.
