The Autumn-class heavy cruiser, named after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn,[1] is a class of capital ship commissioned into service with the UNSC Navy following the end of the Human-Covenant War. Many of these ships serve as escort vessels for the UNSC Infinity.

Design

In superficial terms, the Autumn class bears a close resemblance to a Halcyon-class light cruiser, specifically the Pillar of Autumn, after the ship's last refit in 2552. However, the Autumn class differs from its namesake in a number of details; specifically, having different window arrangements, the antenna-like protrusion at the front of the ship being double the length of the original Autumn's, the radar dishes being smaller and in different configurations across the ship, different numbers and locations of small antennae and four fewer point defense turrets than the Pillar of Autumn.
