Angoulême was a city on the human colony of Meridian. Chalybs Defense Solutions had at least one facility in the city. The standard-issue pilot helmet for the UNSC Air Force, developed by CDS, was designed and built from the ground up in Angoulême.[1] During the Battle of Meridian in 2551, Chalybs Defense Solutions abandoned their facilities on Meridian, and the city was likely glassed by the Covenant alongside most of the moon's surface.[2]

Trivia

It was likely named after the French commune of the same name.
