Alpha Corvi, also named Alchiba, is a yellow-white star located 49 light years from the Sol system. It is the fifth-brightest star in the constellation Corvus.[1]

History

At some point before the twenty-sixth century, Humanity colonized the planetary system, establishing a precarious colony on Alpha Corvi II. During the Human-Covenant War, the Master Chief and Blue Team were are deployed by the UNSC to Alpha Corvi II to halt the Covenant's efforts to uncover something hidden below the planet's surface.[2]
