Al-Thani was an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper stationed on the UNSC Pillar of Autumn during the Battle of Reach and the Battle of Installation 04. They were a member of First Lieutenant Melissa McKay's unit. They were killed in action when the Covenant intercepted and boarded the ship.[1]

Escape from Reach

In August of 2552, Al-Thani was among the people onboard of the UNSC Pillar of Autumn when it fled from the Fall of Reach.[1]

Battle over Installation 04

On September 19, after the Pillar of Autumn left slipspace, the Covenant intercepted and boarded the ship starting the Battle over Installation 04. The ships ODST contingent were assigned to defend the ships experimental powerplant from the invaders, Al-Thani alongside Suzuki, and Dawkins were killed during the skirmishes on the ship, with the platoon's medic Valdez witnessing the death.
