Mess Halls are used in likely all UNSC vessels. They provide food and drinks for the crew and Marines. Instead of having chefs, most vessels by the 2500s' have food dispencers instead, this howether results in less coices of nurishment.

The standard Halcyon-Class Cruiser has its Mess Hall located near the Bridge and Armouries.

In September of 2552, the UNSC Pillar of Autumn was attacked by the Covenant near Installation 04. Marines surrounded the Mess Hall, stoping the covenant from reaching the bridge.
