Considering that the ''Halo Wars'' Elephant acts more like an armoured personnel carrier than a recovery vehicle, I suggest that we rename this article to reflect that. I don't believe there's a source for it being designated "Heavy Recovery Vehicle", so we could probably call it the "M312 armored personnel carrier" (in lowercase, because it's not official) or "M312 Elephant".--[[User talk:The All-knowing Sith'ari|The All-knowing Sith'ari]] 12:35, 1 September 2011 (EDT)

Possible rename?

Considering that the Halo Wars Elephant acts more like an armoured personnel carrier than a recovery vehicle, I suggest that we rename this article to reflect that. I don't believe there's a source for it being designated "Heavy Recovery Vehicle", so we could probably call it the "M312 armored personnel carrier" (in lowercase, because it's not official) or "M312 Elephant".--The All-knowing Sith'ari 12:35, 1 September 2011 (EDT)

Actually, it does refer the Halo Wars variant as the M312 HRV.— subtank 12:39, 1 September 2011 (EDT)
