The Medal of Honor
The UNSC Medal of Honor is the highest military decoration awarded by the United Nations Space Command to its Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Sailors.
Background
The Medal of Honor is awarded for singular, conspicuous acts of individual gallantry and steadfast devotion among Soldiers, Sailors, Pilots, and Marines during times of war and need.[1]
History
Originally created in 1862 by the United States Congress, the Medal of Honor has been used continuously for almost eight hundred years.
