The Trooper Hornet is an up-armored variant of the AV-14 Hornet employed by Cutter .[1]

The Trooper Hornet boasts much thicker armour plating around the aircraft, the top parts are painted in a black-and-white dazzle camouflage pattern. Unlike it's standard counterpart, this variant has more of a box-like window.

Gameplay

The Trooper Hornet is a unit available in the Blitz mode of Halo Wars 2. As such, it can only be employed in Blitz and Blitz Firefight gamemodes. It is available to users playing Cutter.

The Trooper Hornet Blitz card has the following attributes;

  • Rarity: Uncommon
  • Cost to deploy: 100
  • Last Stand: When this unit falls in battle, a number of infantry troops jump out to continue the fight.

The Trooper Hornet is classed as a Core Aircraft, and performs well against Infantry, Vehicles and Aircraft.
