Template:Ratings Template:New Content Armor effects are a special customizable option in the Armory in Halo: Reach. Armor effects offer a humorous tone to multiplayer.

Death Effects

The following effects occur when a player is killed.

Birthday Party

Heart Attack

  • Cost: 300,000 cR
  • Effect: When a player dies, flying hearts will appear around the body of the player. This armor effect is similar to the "Dancing Marty" Easter Egg in Halo 3: ODST.

Living Effects

The following effects occur when a player is alive.

Pestilence

  • Cost: 1,000,000 cR
  • Effect: Bugs and a cloud of green flows around the player.

Inclement Weather

  • Cost: 2,000,000 cR
  • Effect: Electricity swirls around the player's body.[1]

Flaming Helmet

Blue Flames

  • Cost: Only available to Bungie employees
  • Effect: An effect similar to the blue stuff around plasma grenades burn above the players head, and makes the visor transparent blue, revealing a skull (similar to those from headhunter) inside the helmet, in place of a normal head.
