The John-117 Monument[1] was a comprehensive diorama of the Second Battle of Mombasa created in honor of SPARTAN-117. All of the models were created by hand, both in real life and canonically, with the likenesses of the human soldiers based off of "Marine induction scans"[2]. The artists also rendered the battlefield down to the bullet holes.

It was created in 2607 and was featured in the Museum of Humanity. However, the battle depicted by the Monument is not featured in Halo 3.
