G. Peterson was a UNSC marine, and part of the crew of the UNSC Spirit of Fire during the Second Ark Conflict. On June 1, 2559, Peterson and their squad were deployed to scout the quarantine zone surrounding the ruins of High Charity on Installation 00, as a response to the close encounter experienced by Major Vaughan and Boomerang Company a short time prior. During the mission, Peterson served as the comms officer, and filed a field report of their observations of the region.[1][2] Several days later, the Banished accidentally released the Flood parasite into the area and engaged the UNSC force there.[3]
