Like most games Bungie has "hidden" a number of Easter eggs in their games. Some as big as the Scarab gun that can be found on Metropolis to some as small as a "No Swimming" sign. One of the most famous set of Easter eggs in Halo 2 are the skulls. The skulls are a set of item that are hidden in the campaign under the legendary setting. When picked up (usually by pressing "X") these skulls activate effects like head shots make enemies explode like plasma grenades.
