Waruna Xida Yotno was a Lekgolo hive and bond brother to Paruto Xida Konna.
Biography[edit]
The two Mgalekgolo served aboard the Covenant Varric-pattern heavy cruiser Incorruptible. They were responsible for the safety of the Shipmaster, Tano 'Inanraree. Nevertheless, when 'Inanraree was killed by Voro 'Mantakree during the later phase of the Battle of Installation 05, Waruna and Paruto supported 'Mantakree's rise to Shipmaster, realizing 'Inanraree would have led the crew to their deaths by intentionally allowing the Flood to board the Incorruptible.[1]
Waruna and its bond brother then traveled to Joyous Exultation, and later to Onyx aboard the Incorruptible. During the Onyx Conflict, it was part of the sizeable ground force that landed on the surface at the Forerunner ruins within Zone 67, where it fought the SPARTAN-IIs and IIIs that were defending a structure. Despite injuries sustained by Paruto, it was able to continue leading the attack all the way to the core room antechamber, where it was killed when Lieutenant Commander Kurt Ambrose detonated FENRIS nuclear warheads, preventing the Covenant from reaching Shield World 006.
