The Cold Storage Monitor is the Monitor on the ceiling of Cold Storage. The "Monitor" follows your movements if you stare at it for a while, but will stop once you leave the room. It should be noted that the Monitor on the ceiling can't be 2401 Penitent Tangent, for it's far too large, in fact it is several times the size of an average Monitor, such as the player's model whilst in Forge. It has been speculated to be a "local caretaker," designated to watch over the facility like a prison guard, similar to a "dumb" UNSC AI. Also the monitor is invincible so keep those trigger fingers still.
