The Flood dispersal pod[1] is a Flood dissemination mechanism.
It allows for airborne deployment of Combat Forms, and some were deployed within the New Halo built on the Ark[2] by the Gravemind in an attempt to stop the firing of the ring.They look vry similar to the pods that Elites use.
