- First Battle of Mombasa - The capturing of New Mombasa by the Covenant on October 22, 2552, and its decisive recapture by the UNSC, led by SPARTAN-117, and culminating in the Prophet of Regret's Assault Carrier transitioning to Slipspace within the city, destroying it in a cataclysm.
- Second Battle of Mombasa- The battle fought after the prophet flee. This battle is fought in the ruin of the city after the collaps of the portail
