Summary
Slayer is a gametype found in many different Halo 2 playlists. The object of the game is simply to kill as many players as possible. As opposed to Team Slayer, the game of Slayer is every man for himself. If the title of the game is followed by "Human", then the game will only feature human weapons. The title followed by "Human BR" indicates the same thing and in addition you will start with a Battle Rifle.
Variations
These variation are also found in Team Slayer forms. All rules are the same except that the games are team based instead of every man for himself.
Fiesta
All players start with one random weapon each time they spawn. There are no weapons on the map except for Grenades.
Swords
Each player will start with a Energy Sword and usually two grenades. There will be no other weapons available on the map besides grenades.
Rifles
Each player starts with a Battle Rifle. Battle Rifle ammo, Carbines and grenades may be found on the map.
Pistols
Each player starts with a Magnum. Magnum ammo, Plasma Pistols, and grenades may be found on the map.
Snipers
Each player starts with a Human Sniper Rifle and a Magnum. Sniper Rifle ammo, Plasma Rifles, and grenades may be found on the map.
Rockets
Each player starts with a Rocket Launcher. Rockets and grenades may be found on the map.
Shotguns
Each player starts with a Shotgun. Shotgun shells and grenades may be found on the map.
