Zealous Champion is the eleventh track included in the second disc of the Halo 2 Anniversary Original Soundtrack. It is the remastered version of Heretic, Hero from the Halo 2: Original Soundtrack. The timpani is not orchestrated and is a sample from the original song.

It's likely that the organizers of the remastered soundtrack were provided sheet music or tracks without the comma found in the original track, resulting in an interpretation of "Heretic" as an adjective rather than a noun. As the original track was meant to represent the dichotomy between the two playable characters in the game's campaign - the Arbiter (a "Heretic") and Master Chief (a "Hero") - the remastered title might have been more appropriate as "Zealot, Champion" since many of the remastered tracks are titled using synonyms of the original track's title. (e.g. Peril and Jeopardy)
