Woops moved this whole coversation down to the bottom. In response to what the code does. It involves this template, {{#username:}}. When {{#username:WikiGuest}} is added the Javascript from RR's code you added changes the USERNAME to the name of whoever is looking at it. So if you're looking at it says Dragonclaws. If I look at it, it says Esemono. GPT uses it in his sig, I don't like WikiGuest so that whoever is looking at his signature sees, I don't like (whoever is looking). It could be userful in a greeting though like:

"Greetings {{#username:WikiGuest}} thankyou for coming to my page."

• "Greetings WikiGuest thankyou for coming to my page."

Thanks. However, I'm afraid I don't know the format for adding stories, and was unaware they could be added. From what I've seen the wiki is just a collection of battles and characters, rather than actual stories. Do I just have to make a normal article to put it in? And would the fact that it is an imagined version of Halo 3 be a violation of the "mostly canon" thing? 1. Yeah, the reference to Brutes raping prisoners is actually a very intuitive insight. The references to made to raping are probably acceptable, although H*bad, the other bureaucrat, is more stringent on that kinda stuff, so check with him too. =D
2. On HFWiki, you can add both stories and articles on stories. =D

Dear Dragonclaws,

I suggest you reconsider RR's changes to the HTML, that you have implemented. As far as I can tell, it is only being used by users in 'trick' personal attacks. For example, GPT (you can see an example in the section right above "Please") and others have added "I don't like (username)" to the end of their signature. Personal attacks, as you know, are against Wikia policy.

According to GHe, it is illegal in the United States to collect information about people under the age of 13. Because Wikia's servers are in America, it doesn't matter if the people the law affects are are in another country that does not have the same restriction. Ghost Fan Fiction - an opportunity

Deleting unused images, articles, categories, etc.

I've noticed that, among tons of things I've marked for deletion, tons of things are still there. They aren't being used, they're duplicates, some of them are screwed up; but they're still there. I don't know what's going on with you and the other admins, but a lot of things really do need to be deleted. If none of the admins are going to keep up with maintaining this site, then all the crap's just going to build up, so a lot of the pictures, as well as a few articles, in Category:Candidates_for_deletion need to be deleted. If you guys aren't going to do it, then I'd like some kind of administrator access or something to be able to delete things. Besides being able to delete pages created simply to vandalise, it would make it a lot easier for another image campaign I'd like to embark on; "renaming" all of the badly named images. Please respond ASAP with either deletions to articles and images ready to pack it in, a message, or whatever else you think seems fitting. MediaWiki Deletion & Other

Dear Dragonclaws,

1. I voted a "Weak Keep" on Talk:T.S. Eliot. Please see my reasons there. ;-)
2. I know that for the MediaWiki v1.10alpha upgrade, they have installed a new MediaWiki:Edittools that will be default across all Wikias...I know that Halopedia hasn't gotten it, as the upgrade is being slowly done to the larger Wikias (and we're the 9th largest! ;-D)...however, your Monsters Wikia probably already has gotten the upgrade, and the bot deleted the MediaWiki file and the upgrade will substratally add Edittools, I think, so that it can't be edited by anyone. I think. ;-)

Hello, it's RelentlessRecusant. I would like to inform you that we have upgraded from MediaWiki v1.9 to MediaWiki v1.10alpha. There are several significant changes, which concern the search system and article creation.

1. Searching - Now type in your search query slowly, one letter at a time. Below the search box will be a list of article names that match what you are typing. If you just type what you want into the box and press "SEARCH", the query will return as a failure. You need to select the article you want from the dropdown box.

1. Creating Articles - Now use Special:Createpage.

Well, in a regular IRC client you can just use /join #halopedia, but with the CGI it doesn't work unless it's on the list... I'll see if I can find someone to put it on right now... The Monitors of Halopedia

Good Morning Dragonclaws:

Before You cry out in outrage and say "Oh ***k! Not another Usergroup!", Please Let me State my case in the following message. When I first joined Halopedia, I knew of four Usergroups, The CoH, The UNSCoH, The, FoH, and The PoH. Now there are Usergroups I do not even know about as each person now thinks that if it is not related to their current usergroup, they need a new one. For example the UNSCoH could have Easily created Multiplayer articles instead of creating the MoH or SoH. What I plan to to with the Monitors of Halopedia(THIS IS NOT THE FINAL NAME!) is have a set group of Individuals (such as You and RR, ED, Esemono, GuestyPersony-Thingy, etc and anyone else who has skilled wiki knowlodge.)help answer questions, help new users, create userboxes, REGULATE the creation of articles or USERGROUPS, and basicly MONITOR Halopedia without it going Hay-wire. PLEASE keep in mind that I am Aware that administrator can easily do this without the creation of this usergroup. I thought how ever it could be more organized as The group could Have all those skilled in wiki smarts monitor every aspect of Halopedia and at the same time be a FAQ page for those who a new Usergroup, etc. I have a readout below of what I plan it to be below, IF it is acceptable to carry out later. We need to control our users a little better, not like communists, but enought so that we have a safe, organized, and fun enviroment!. We don't need a mess! clear}}

The Monitors of Halopedia(name pending)

• A set group of Members
• Cannot join, must be selected (to avoid EVERYONE joining, as that defeats the purpose of a few "monitors")
• Tasks are those which would keep Halopedia "clean" and help answe general questions
• Keep in mind this is not Final, I am just listing whats coming into my head.

Anyways, please consider my request, as I wish To become a major contrabution to Halopedia, and this is one wway I thought I could help!

Dear Dragonclaws, my master has been banned for 'vandelising the Forum:B.C.E.'. All the master has done is change the  : sign to a # so you can see the ammount of Votes. then he changed a reply from himself to himself and merged it with the larger one in which was his origonaly message, to further his info. Forerunner will never die!!!
