Very nice man, generous with a good heart. Hi, I am Bruce, the instructor for this course.
I have 20+ years professional experience as a recording engineer and producer releasing more than 200 albums for gold record and award winning artists on major record labels like Motown, BMG and Sony Music. In addition to producing records, I have experience in the video and audio post production arena, and have music composition and sound design credits for many feature films, documentaries, video games and TV commercials for companies like Sony Playstation, 20th Century Fox, PBS and MTV. I have designed and owned some of the top recording studios in the Bay Area and have been blessed to work with absolute genius level artists, producers, directors and celebrities. I continue to stay active as a professional audio producer at my state of the art facility in San Jose, and working at many of the premier recording studios in the world.
I started using Pro Tools before it was even called Pro Tools! :) I am the founder, and former president, of Future Rhythm LLC, the first Digidesign Authorized Pro Tools Training Center in Northern California, and am one of the first people in the world to achieve Digidesign's Pro Tools Expert Level Instructor Certification for both Music and Post.
I have been teaching at Foothill College since 2005 and have been full-time at Foothill since Fall 2007. The Music Technology Program at Foothill College is amazing and I am thrilled to be part of it! I love teaching these classes because I never stop learning!
