A chill gamer guy who's been a large fan of Halo since November of 2016. Not as long as most other 'veterans', however my knowledge of the franchise is still relatively grand in my opinion. Halo Reach being my first and 2 being my favorite. I'm more accurately a lore fan, however I of course love the games, extra media such as Halo Legends, as well as the figures as I'm also a avid collector. I am a big fan of the Covenant empire faction, and it's lore and I also enjoy listening to music and relaxing.
Long time gamer. Main interests involve the Halo franchise as a whole, the Godzilla franchise, mainly Monsterverse, Pacific rim, Music and figure collecting.
The moment within the beginning cutscene to the Halo 2 mission "Arbiter" where the Arbiter armor is shown as the game suite playes and he goes to put it on, finishing the scene off with a very mem quote, "What would you have your arbiter do."
The entire "Created" arc involving a Cortana as essentially a dictator.
As controversial of a statement it can be, I will still say that my experiences with the 343i made games wasn't as bad as most others. Mot likely due to the fact I wasn't as big or knowledged of a fan as I am now and simply enjoyed a cool futuristic looking fps. My feelings for both Halo 4 and 5 are in a way opposite of each other. I quite enjoyed Halo 4s story and additions to the lore despite its many flaws, however I never found the multiplayer as enjoyable as say Reach's for what most would likely say obvious reasons. Yet for 5 I actually kinda liked the multiplayer, alot, mainly due to its vast arsenal, unique gamemodes, highly advanced Forge, and the most lore accurate Spartan gameplay we've had in the franchise. However I found the story a bit all over the place with some of the most unusual lore addition decisions such as bringing back Cortana so abruptly and making her a 'villain' of sorts, completely contradicting the beautiful and emotional goodbye between her and the Chief during Halo 4s ending. Add to that the most repetitive, insufferable, boss fights in the franchise to date. The same boss with the same attacks, dialogue, and ways to be defeated within mostly similar level geometry throughout the game wasn't the most riveting gameplay. Hopefully most of my opinions/statements here aren't looked at as heresy and I later find my self branded with a shameful mark or something, but despite their flaws I don't find them absolutely unplayable, I do find enjoyment in them. Just not as much as the prior Bungie made games.
