Check the previous version. Not much difference but some guest had changed it to "Shineblade." I changed it back because I was pretty sure that there wasn't an official name for it, but I figured I would put this out here and check with you all. Always use the DMR. Plasma Pistol[edit]
Looks like the plasma pistol to me. It could be the weapon it was based off of. SamGall (talk) 22:10, 2 February 2015 (EST)
- According its Waypoint article, the plasma pistol is based on "a Forerunner tool of indeterminate function". While it's certainly possible said "tool" is the weapon in Origins, one would think they'd note it was reverse-engineered from a weapon if this was the case. And while they look rather similar their effects are very different, though admittedly the plasma pistol could be a simpler, more primitively put together version of the Forerunner weapon. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 00:12, 4 February 2015 (EST)
