Relation to Ice Fields

So after finally playing the Halo PC exclusive maps thanks to the Master Chief Collection, I noticed that Ice Fields seemed eerily familiar. They're both a figure-8 shaped snow map with a bridge overlapping a bottom trench in the middle, and the proportions to Meltdown are roughly the same. The only major difference I could find was how the bases were set up. I'm getting the feeling that Meltdown was definitely intended to be a spiritual successor to Ice Fields, but I've never seen anything that directly states that. I'm including a reference to Ice Fields in the article, but I'm holding back on saying it's a spiritual successor since that title is usually given by the developers themselves.--File:PENGUIN4.gif|15px]]FluffyEmoPenguin^{(ice quack!)} 13:01, 12 November 2014 (EST)
