:It's a cased variant then, but seeing as we were right (in the discussion directly below) about it having a P90 magazine, along with the new ambidextrous charging handles and front P90-style rail mount, I doubt it's even an M7. Well, 343 could name it an M7 variant if they so desired of course, but they didn't with the BR85, so I hope they don't here. Anyone else study this picture and notice that its magazine is missing from the left side? It also definitely looks like the large black bar on the top end of the weapon is the new magazine. There even appears to be some kind of magazine catch or a release lever towards the back end of it, and the back end of this magazine seems rounded like a P90's magazine, along with part of the weapon itself being rounded in that same area like it's accommodating this rounded end of the magazine.-- | Anyone else study this picture and notice that its magazine is missing from the left side? :Yeah, and the new optic rail mount up front is also just like a P90, though in this case it allows the use of the irons sights, which look through underneath it. This had been discussed on the Halo 5 Forum page, here :) Alex T Snow (talk) 22:39, 28 September 2014 (EDT) | :Yeah, and the new optic rail mount up front is also just like a P90, though in this case it allows the use of the irons sights, which look through underneath it.
