How many pages are in the re-issue? My original book has 340 pages, including prologue. If the reissue has more or less pages, that may screw up our sourcing system. == Continuity Flubs (and Book Reccomendations) ==
I just got done reading The Fall of Reach. Very good book, establishes important lore around the Spartans and Chief, and endears you to his character. However, I have some issues, specifically regarding continuity.
First, during the part where Chief and Blue Team are on Sigma Octanus IV, it's heavily implied that this is the first time Chief has ever encountered the Hunters. This contradicts later lore about Lasky getting a chunk of Hunter armor from Chief, which happens before the mission on Sigma Octanus IV according to this wiki.
Second, at the end after Chief, the Marines, and Linda's cadaver get off the space station and back onto the Autumn, they apparently jump immediately into slipspace and escape the planet as it begins to be glassed. If that's the case, then when do they go down to the surface to meet up with Noble 6 and pick up the fragment of Cortana? It even says they can't land on the surface when Chief requests to go pick up his crew. Something's not adding up here.
Aside from that, (and the fact that Johnson appeared, but hardly said or did anything, which is lame because he's cool) I loved the book, and am greatly interested in reading more about the Halo universe. Any suggestions? [[User:GoodMudkip|GoodMudkip]] ([[User talk:GoodMudkip|talk]]) 12:06, February 18, 2022 (EST)
