Facts Confirmed[edit]

  • On 15:44, 15 January 2007 (UTC) Esemono had some issues with this article, including, "User appears to be creating ranks that do not exist. Proof needed that this rank exists in the Covenant rank structure. That a rank exists in the UNSC IS NOT proof that it exists Covenant forces". However on 05:32, 16 January 2007 (UTC) they were resolved:

I've found the pages in the Halo: The Flood that states the rank of Field Master, he's leading assaults on the human forces. --Shch 'Nodotee 17:15, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

The Rank of Field Master seems similer to the British rank of Field Marshal which is obove General, the American equivelent is General of the Army --Climax Viod 18:35, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Field Master appears to be an office/position, not an actual rank (much like how brigade commander is the office but Colonel or Brigadier General is the actual rank). Idolo 01:50, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

It may be possible that, after the great schism, Zealot ranks can be distinguished by armour type. Field Master would lead assaults so might wear gold coloured assault armour etc. This is only an idea.-- Joshua 029 19:37, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Merge with Field Marshall[edit]

Should we merge this page with Field Marshall? They share nearly identical names, and are both classes of Zealot, so isn't it safe to assume they're the same?SPARTAN-347 04:09, September 16, 2010 (UTC)

I disagree Field Marshall seems to be a actual rank unlike field master which seems to be a job Admiralmorris 18:54, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
