This device is referred to as a spotting scope, not binoculars, in terms of Halo usage. The main one pictured is from Halo 2. In Halo 3 the 3D model was essentially reused but without the tripod. As a handheld it was in the closing cutscene of Sierra 117 at the beginning of Halo 3 when the Marines confirms the Pelican coming into Crow's Nest. ScaleMaster117 (talk) 21:58, 27 June 2013 (EDT)
