Spoiler[edit]

hmm, someone should place there a spoilerwarning :)

Well, almost everything on Halopedia is a spoiler, so it's just in the disclaimer. --NOTASTAFF GPT(talk)(eating) 00:07, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Frigate[edit]

Its not a frigate. Covenant Frigates were significantly LARGER than UNSC Frigates, NOT 3 TIMES SMALLER.

Maybe its a stealth ship?

Also... it was unusualy powerful for a Covenant frigate, being able to resist MAC rounds and not taking down its shields.

the ship was probably a cruiser or light cruiser. it couldn't have been a stealth corvette, those are stealth ships and they can't take that much damage, nor can they dish out enough to cripple a ship like the commonwealth. CaptJim 04:15, October 11, 2009 (UTC)

Canon issues (Fall of Reach animated series)[edit]

In the Fall of Reach video series they have five spartans: Kelly, Linda, Fred, Sam, and John board the Covenant ship. Does the animated series take precedence over the book or not?

I believe the book takes precedence as the animated series was just trying to establish the close relationship between the five Spartans, as Fred and to a lesser degree Linda only had a comparatively minor role in The Fall of Reach novel. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 13:58, 8 December 2015 (EST)
I might put up a note though saying Fred and Linda were present in the animated series take on events. Similarly might do something like that for the Sangheili Storm aboard the ship.Sith Venator Mega Blastoise.gif (Dank Memes) 14:01, 8 December 2015 (EST)
Yeah, I was thinking that either a note or a section (Trivia/Production note/Behind the scenes/whatever you want to call it) mentioning the discrepancy would be good. Same on Fred's and Linda's articles. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 14:05, 8 December 2015 (EST)
I think it's usually a good guideline to treat adaptations as secondary whenever they contradict with the original work, unless the developers state otherwise. Visual adaptations in particular make a lot of concessions for artistic reasons or production-related storytelling decisions (such as the insertion of Linda and Fred to the original Blue Team to introduce the H5G-era Blue Team to game-only fans). Acknowledging the animated series' version in a note is a good idea, though. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 08:57, 9 December 2015 (EST)
