==Service history==
On March 3, 2560, ''Conjunction'' and its crew were called up to respond to a [[Slipspace COM launcher|distress call]] put out from the colony world [[Nysa]] due to [[Battle of Nysa|an attack]] by the [[Banished]]. ''Sword of Conjunction'' granted special dispensation for the UNSC to dock three [[Condor]]s inside the ship for [[Slipstream space|slipspace]] transit, alongside three joint [[wing]]s of [[Elsedda-pattern Banshee|Banshee]] [[Space fighter|strikecraft]]; [[Amity Wing|Amity]], [[Harmony Wing|Harmony]], and [[Sympathy Wing|Sympathy]] wings. The ship then departed for Nysa at around 2300 hours.{{Ref/Reuse|Anvil}} 

The frigate arrived in the [[Hyades system]] at 0327 hours on March 4, around fifteen hours into the battle. The ship was followed shortly thereafter by a UNSC {{Class|Mulsanne|light frigate}}, {{UNSCShip|Fearful Symmetry}}. Upon arriving in the system, ''Sword of Conjunction'' dispatched [[scout-eye]] drones onto the planet to conduct reconnaissance and try to better-ascertain what kind of threat they may be facing. After making contact with ''Fearful Symmetry'', ''Conjunction'' gave the go-ahead for both ships to converge on Nysa and begin an evacuation of the base's key staff. Neither ship had the firepower to engage the [[Banished dreadnought]] leading the invasion, the [[New Colonial Alliance]]'s ''[[Ghost of Kholo]]'', and so attempted to divide its attention with ''Conjunction''s strikecraft wings. ''Conjunction'' then conducted a flyover of the under-siege [[Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science]] and deployed six [[drop pod]]s containing [[Riftborn]] operatives into the facility. The Riftborn were given a simple mission: find Commander [[Laurette Agryna]] and extract her, alongside any other survivors they encountered. The exfiltration was conducted by a UNSC [[D77 Pelican]] droopship ''[[Bravo 198]]'', which then returned the extracted personnel to ''Fearful Symmetry''.
