Fairchild Field is an airfield located on the surface of Reach. This field housed Pelican dropships, Longsword Fighters, and SkyHawks. In 2552, while experimenting with the new shield installed with his MJOLNIR armor, Spartan-117 had to deal with a SkyHawk dispatched from Fairchild Field. This field is located near the Reach Military Training fields. Fairchild Field was maybe destroyed when the Covenant glassed Reach.
