Signal Hill

Signal Hill is an outcropping of rough, sandblasted rock in a desert on the planet, Carrow. It lies outside the settlement of Sandholm at a distance of five minutes away by M274 mongoose. A teenage resident of Sandholm, Dahlia, likes to skip her way up the hill to eat her lunch and look out over the town. At the start of the latter half of 2558, a viral hemorrhagic fever swept through the town in waves. A repeater that was perched near the top of Signal Hill failed after the second wave. When Dahlia eventually investigated, she found that a storm had knocked it over and a boulder had fallen on it and damaged it beyond repair.[1]
