==Operational history==
Between [[2559#September|19 and 21 September, 2559]], the Ninth Platoon was onboard [[Perihelion Station]] in orbit of [[KC-59]]. In addition to field testing the [[ORCUS exoskeleton]], the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers also ran training exercises—simulated [[War Games]] and sparring sessions—with [[SPARTAN-II program|Spartan-IIs]] from [[Blue Team]], who were equipped with the new [[MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor (GEN3)|MJOLNIR [GEN3] platform]]; [[Marcus Stacker]] was appointed by [[Captain (NAVCOM)|Captain]] [[Thomas Lasky]] to oversee the exercises. Although some of the ODSTs were unhappy with serving as training subjects for the Spartans, Stacker observed that the Spartans have motivated the ODSTs to push themselves harder and created a camaraderie among themselves.
