Template:Ratings Template:Covenant Rank Infobox The Yanme'e Minor is the lowest Yanme'e rank. A Yanme'e Minor flies slower than Yanme'e Majors. All the Yanme'e that are encountered in Halo 2 are Minors; there are no Majors. They are often seen commanded by Yanme'e Leaders in Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach.

Rank

Yanme'e Minors are the lowest in the Yanme'e caste. They are commanded by Yanme'e Majors, Kig-yar, and Unggoy Majors. They seem equal, if not even inferior in rank, to the Unggoy Minors, placing them at the very bottom of the Covenant hierarchy. However, they also might be higher in rank than the Unggoy due to the fact that they appear alongside Jiralhanae and Elites in Halo 2 and Halo 3. Like the Unggoy Minors, however, they seem to be extremely low in rank due to the fact that even a Jackal Minors command them.

Yanme'e Minors can be taken down easily with an SMG, Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, Needler or Plasma Rifle. Super-combining needles will cause an explosion large enough to take out most, if not the all, of the Yanme'e in the group. However, as the Halo 2 Official Strategy Guide points out, they can be deadly in conjunction with Unggoy, Kig-yar, Sangheili, and Jiralhanae.

Appearance

  • In Halo 2, Drone Minors all have green exoskeletons, and in Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, they always have yellow exoskeletons. In Halo 3: ODST, however, they have green, blue, and silver exoskeletons.
