UNSC School of the North Star

The UNSC School of the North Star was a United Nations Space Command training and education facility on Earth.[1]
Captain James Cutter was enrolled in the school in the Fall of 2500, where he studied astro-navigation and political science, implying the school is a college or university. The skills he learned here would aid him greatly when he became Captain of the UNSC Spirit of Fire.
Trivia
The name of the facility is likely a reference to Fist of the North Star (Hokuto No Ken), an anime/manga series which Frank O'Connor happens to be a huge fan of.[2]
