History
Around 2552 Dark Was the Night was transporting Kevin-A282 to Earth when it was attacked. The ship lost Rosarita, its shipboard AI, most of its command crew, and its point-defense guns were disabled. The ship was also forced to land on Losing Hand and was stranded there for about one solar year.
Kevin-A282 and Losing Hand
The unidentified civilian cargo ship Kevin was on, the UNSC Dark Was the Night, was attacked by the Covenant. During the attack, Kevin saved Captain Darren Leone's life after dragging him away from an open airlock. The ship was severely damaged and was forced to crash land on the Outer Colony world Losing Hand.
