The Theta Ursae Majoris System is a human-controlled star system. This system saw some heavy fighting between the UNSC and the Insurrectionists, including the Skirmish at Theta Ursae Majoris in 2501 and the Battle of Theta Ursae Majoris in 2504. The latter of which involved Battle Group Tango, four UNSC destroyers who engaged the Insurrectionist frigate Bellicose.[1] Even when the Insurrection seemed to be calming down in late 2502, the system was still the site of several police actions.[2]
