Team Saber
Team Saber (also known as Gamma Company) was a team of SPARTAN-IIIs introduced in the Halo novel Ghosts of Onyx. These SPARTANs wore the cheap regulation SPI-(Semi-Powered Infeltration) Armour. They graduated the SPARTAN training program at age 12 on February 20, 2551 (Military calender), they then started on the Top Honors prgram against Team Gladius and Team Katana.

Ghosts of Onyx
During the training the squad was attack by what sounded like artillery fire. After retreating to the fence near Zone-67 they came across the Onyx Sentinals.
The team joined Blue-team in their mission to retrieve the Forerunner technology rumored to be buried below the crust of Onyx.
