Since this war took place on other locations besides Requiem, Ivanoff (Installation 03) and Earth orbit, the name of the conflict as a whole shouldn't be "on Requiem". I have an idea. Since the Prometheans are hardly the only main adversaries of humanity in this conflict (for example, with the Didact out of the picture for now, leadership of the Covenant/Promethean alliance appears to have fallen to 'Mdama), perhaps a more apt name should be used. Personally, I suggest the "Reclamation war" or the "Reclamation conflict", which ties in with the theme of the Librarian's plan for humanity to reclaim the Forerunner's mantle. No, because that involves too much "fanon" imposed for a name and doesn't give much detail about the conflict. You could easily easily call the Human-Covenant War "the Reclamation war" because it was all started by humans being identified as reclaimers. So, too vague, and too fanfictiony. Therefore, no. Agreed. "The Reclamation" does sound like a very cool and an apt name for this conflict, but as Tucker stated, it is fanfiction-y and implies far too much. While the UEG has finally cemented itself as the sole superpower with its victories against the Prometheans and Covenant, it has yet to deal with the ramifications of the "Mantle." As such, this conflict's current fan title is good enough. Grizzlei ♥ ツ
