Second Battle of Installation 00[edit]

Why does it say second Battle of Installation 00 now?I don't recall there EVER being another one.Sith Venator 02:46, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Maybe,but even so they were 2 different wars thus still wouldn't be a second just a Battle of Instalation 00(Forerunner-Flood War) and Battle of Instalation 00(Human-Covenant War).Sith Venator 23:19, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

New Main Image[edit]

This page is mighty impressive yes. But the main image in my opinion ought to be changed. I don't think three ODSTs running in a line showcases this battle appropriately. I don't know what to put in place but I suggest the space battle image, or possibly an image from the ground battle involving large UNSC forces etc. Wr1ghty 10:09, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Timeline of Battle[edit]

Why does it say the battle takes months? It seems like it just take hours (timeline wise)? There doesn't seem to indicate any sleeping time and waiting time and why would it take months to activate the rings if you're already at The Ark?--99.237.222.73 23:08, October 13, 2009 (UTC)

Aegis Fate[edit]

Why isn't the Aegis Fate included here? Bungie claims that their multiplayer maps are all more or less canonical, so the map Sandtrap should be enough to warrant its inclusion here. If one needs more evidence: in the initial stages of the Battle of the Ark, six pelicans were launched towards the Ark's surface, however, only three were dropped from the Dawn's cargo bay. 000 Tragic Solitude[edit]

Raid on Installation 04B?[edit]

Should the Raid on Installation 04B be classed as part of the Battle of Installation 00 or not? I ask this because the raid on 04B did not occur on the Ark and it took place after the Covenant and Truth were defeated (and High Charity destroyed). So should it be included in the 'Aftermath' portion of the article instead, along with its influence in the info box removed? thoughts?--Paulhalo121 (talk) 07:23, 22 April 2016 (EDT)

I believe it should count as part of the battle. John, Thel and Johnson were still in combat with the Flood, just as the UNSC-Sangheili forces on the Ark's surface were, and Installation 04B's destruction was instrumental in wiping out the remaining Flood on the Ark. Also, although it was a different structure, the ring was in basically the same location as Installation 00. -- Topal the Pilot

Needs Condensing[edit]

This article is in some SERIOUS need of condensing. The edit made in July 2018 added so much unnecessary Detail that the actual main points of the battle are lost due to every single unit ever faced in the campaign is named. If someone could condense this to keep it on point and accurate that would be great. It’s nearly unreadable in this state Camelboiis (talk) 12:08, May 1, 2021 (EDT)

Thel leaned towards simply blowing the Autumn out of the sky, but it was the Minor Prophet who ordered the boardings. Likewise, the boarding ops at Earth took place to allow Regret to barely slip past, and the Covenant deployment on Delta Halo that destroyed Regret's temple were partially ordered by Truth to kill him.
