Sword Control was the callsign of the air traffic control tower at ONI's Sword Base on Reach.[1]

History

Career with ONI

From an unknown date, Sword Control coordinated air traffic within the region of Sword Base.

Defence of SWORD

When the base came under attack by forces of the Fleet of Valiant Prudence on July 26, 2552, he was likely in command of the numerous UNSC Army aircraft fighting for control of the skies.

During the subsequent Battle of Sword Base, he provided aid to NOBLE Team members Catherine-B320 and Spartan-B312 as they fought to secure the base grounds.

After successfully driving off the Ceudar-pattern heavy corvette leading the attack on the base, Sword Control coordinated with an orbital defense platform in orbit to destroy the ship—sending it plummeting into Big Crater Bay.

Second Attack

It is unknown whether or not he survived the Covenant’s second attack on the base on August 14, during the events of Operation: UPPER CUT.[2]
