Stephen Loftus is a scale-modeling hobbyist known for his detailed work on scale comparison on the Halo universe. His knowledge and analysis of the Halo fiction got the attention of 343 Industries and led to his collaboration with them on the production of Halo: The Essential Visual Guide and Halo 4: The Essential Visual Guide. He goes by the username "SoundEffect" on halo.bungie.org and ScaleMaster117 on Halopedia and Xbox_live.
