Shocknets were electrified nets used by the fishers of Draco III. The nets had their own reactor built into them to power the electric field that was produced. They were used by the Draconians to herd and capture the native naeori, since military-grade munitions and explosives had little effect on the large species. Due to the cost of a shocknet, fishers had to be careful when they attempted to catch a naeori to prevent the loss of the entire net.[1]
