The Piety is a Covenant Hudal-class auxiliary vessel in the post-war era.[1]

Operational history

In February 2553, the ship was crewed by six Jiralhanae, who were transporting a valuable Huragok to the Servants of Abiding Truth. The UNSC Port Stanley learned of the Huragok's existence, and ambushed the ship with its EMP cannon. After towing the ship into its hangar, the Jiralhanae crew was quickly dispatched and the Huragok was secured.

After altering the navigational records and planting several Kig-Yar bodies with MA5B assault rifles onboard, the ship was sent back into space. The Sangheili recipients was tricked into believing that the Piety was boarded by Kig-Yar scavengers, and swears revenge against them as well as a human colony present on the NAV records - Venezia.
