Morales is a Spartan-I who was in the Spartan-I Program with James James, Janissary James' father.[1] He was a friend of both James and Gilly and kept in touch with them in civilian life.[2]
Morales and his son, Kevin Morales, met Jan at James James' funeral.[3]
