Mickey was an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper in the UNSC Marine Corps [1]. He was as the Demolition expert for The Squad.
Mickey served during the First Battle of Earth in 2552 [2]. In the Gameplay Trailer for Halo 3: ODST, by slowing down the video during the drop to New Mombasa you can see that Mickey's drop pod loses power and slams into the Rookies pod, cracking the window. However, since he can later be seen with Dutch on a bridge just outside New Mombasa, it has been established he survives this impact.
