A Medical Scanner, also referred to as Medical PDA, is a piece of UNSC equipment. It is used by UNSC Naval Corpsman[1] to help and treat wounded UNSC personnel.[2] It is unknown what the exact function of the device is, however, it can be reasonably assumed that it x-rays and possibly CAT scans the patient, checking for tissue and bone damage. It also may contain a medical encyclopedia, for field medical procedures and remedies.
